A FEW WORDS IN ADVANCE

The extraordinary multicoloured building of The Colourful Mansion in Ahtopol has managed to become a real fashion attraction in the few months since it was built. Many Bulgarians stop to take pictures of it as they follow the road on the Black Sea Southern Coast towards the frontier (Bourgas-Sozopol-Ahtopol-Sinemorets-Rezovo). It s quite usual to see cars with different registrations (Sofia, Vidin, Rousse, Iambol, Plovdiv etc.) parked across the street from the mansion, causing traffic jams while the passengers decide which is the best angle for a photograph. And they are perfectly right because the options are numerous!

OUR SUGGESTION IS:

Be inquisitive! Don t just take a photograph and pass by without solving the question: What is it like to live in?

The answer is simple and you won t be sorry!

This beautiful motley building is a family hotel in the smallest Bulgarian Black Sea town. A loving couple built it and they did their best to fulfil all their colourful dreams in these coloured walls.

THERE ARE ROOMS OF COURSE

More air and more space was the motto of the owners and the architect. All our double rooms are large, bright and beautiful with huge windows and spacious terraces facing the Black Sea. No more jumping over the beds and wondering where to put your suitcases. No more tedious waiting in front of the only bathroom on the floor (as is mostly the case in the rest of the Southern region).

THE ROOMS ARE NOT THE COMMONPLACE PATTERN TYPE

This is because the rooms are not only big and bright, but because they are also painted in different colours just like the mansion itself. You can book a room most suitable to your personal choice. It could be in calming green or blue, but it could also be joyful yellow or even pink. And everything in such a room the doors, the lampshades, the towels - even the sinks - follow the guiding colour of the room.

YOU DON T NEED TO TAKE A COLD SHOWER EVERY TEN MINUTES TO FIGHT THE HEAT

Each room has air-conditioning, a refrigerator and a television. The bar on the ground floor and the tables under the big walnut-tree could be the perfect place for watching sport games on big TV screen. All our drinks are well chilled and those who might prefer something strong and special can taste the host s remarkable selection of extraordinary Bulgarian grape-brandies the so-called rakia . It is worth mentioning that some of these brandies follow the host s own original recipes.
